Space Hotel - Melbourne

We were delighted with the clean and well-maintained rooms at Space. The rooftop hot tub was a real highlight, providing a relaxing way to unwind after a day of exploring. The staff at Space were friendly and always ready to assist us with any queries or requests. our experience at Space Hotel was excellent and we would highly recommend it.

It felt safe and secure.

We did not like that the heating and the hot water did not work effectively(the heater at all)

Rate and location are the most important things

The receptionist was so rude when asking for the credit card. I was actually asking nicely why we needed to show the credit card because the id was confirmed and the payment has been made. I am not too sure what the guy thought about at the time. I hate I was served like a impostor.......that is the only thing I dont like at all. I think the manner lesson should be given how to treat your customers..... Otherwise the hotel is in the very right location in the city and its rate super cheap which are the highlight of this hotel.

The movie room and hot tub were great. The bar downstairs had cheap burgers and good beers. Rooms and bathrooms were nice and clean. Close to city tram, food, and attractions. Good value for budget travelers.

Convenient location near public transportation. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Friendly and attentive staff. Multiple daily cleanings ensure cleanliness. Great amenities including cinema, hot tubs, and rooftop decks.

Friendly and helpful service. Top central location between the cafes, shops and restaurants of Melbourne cbd and the cafes, restaurants and evening life of Carlton. Reasonable rates. 24 hour check-in. Very clean and tidy.

Hot water issues in shower at one stage, no hot water for tea/coffee due to equipment failure too.

The very welcoming staff, the cleanliness of the establishment, the very large and very well equipped kitchen, the geographical location, the gymnasium

The wifi very very slow!

Convenient location, easy to get around. Friendly staff who allowed us to store our bags after checkout. Clean and well-maintained with comfy beds and handy lockers. Great balcony view and a relaxing atmosphere.

I had a single room and had to share a bathroom, I thought that the proportion of bathrooms to rooms/ beds was too low.During peak times there was no hot water for the shower.

Basic low cost.

Check out time to be later than 10am.

Clean room with great view, helpful staff, fantastic communal kitchen, attractive roof decks, bonus facilities like gym and movie room.

Can't fault the hotel in any way.

Cleanliness and within the city.

The bedroom in Space Hotel is clean, simple but worth for a budget hotel. It is located in cbd area, so it will only take a short walk to get to the city center. I also highly for their cleanliness, especially the bathroom.

Stayed during Thanksgiving, and had a good time with friends. Complimentary breakfast and wine hour were a nice touch. Convenient location for exploring the city and easy to get to tourist attractions.

Some of the staff was unhelpful, and the room was cramped with limited storage space. The common areas were often crowded making it difficult to socialize.

Really was more like a hotel than a hostel. Rooms, bathrooms etc were all very clean and there was always staff hoovering, cleaning kitchen/bathrooms and emptying bins. The Blue Moon bar was excellent value and the food was great - you get extra 10% off for staying there and the happy hour deals were unbeatable. Wait staff were also great. Would highly reccommend staying here to anyone on a budget but wants a few more home comforts. About 5 min walk to main shopping hub of Swanston St and only 20 min walk to Southern Cross station.
